Wow!! Has it really been 6 months?! At Kayli's 6-month check-up she weighed 19 lbs. and was 27 1/2 inches long and is still in the 90th percentile for both. She got more shots and had a fever that night and next day :( I guess we're getting used to it. Her next appointment isn't scheduled until August (she will be 9 months). I guess they don't do an 8-month check-up.
A lot has happened this past month. General Conference, Easter, Tia Laura and Tio Dave's graduation, and Grandma and Grandpa Bond came to visit!Kayli also slept in her crib for the first time this month (since she doesn't fit in the bassinet anymore!) She didn't seem to notice the new crib and slept the whole night. As you can see, I still swaddle her at night, but she is getting too big for all our blankets!
This month Kayli was invited to attend a birthday party. Our friend's son, Jayden, turned 1-year old and had a small party. Even though Kayli was too small to enjoy the games, food, and piƱata...we all had fun!

5 months old!
As you can see...Kayli likes to put everything in her mouth these days! :) She is still sleeping well, however, the bassinet is getting smaller and smaller! We've been experimenting with "soils" and so far have tried cereal, squash, sweet potato, green beans, and banana. We want to do veggies first and work a few fruits in there once and a while. We also started giving her apple juice in a bottle, which she likes as well.
This month Kayli also learned how to take the "chupon" (pacifier) out of her mouth, but she hasn't figured out how to put it back in her mouth, which causes much frustration for her, and a few giggles for us :)
On March 14th Laura, Kayli and I went to the Draper Temple Open House. It was a really cool experience. I carried Kayli in the sling and she was good the whole time. She just kept looking all around. I kept wondering if she knew where she was...and I think she did. Everything was so beautiful and peaceful. I am so greatful for the opportunity to go to the temple and take my daughter with me to show her the importance of temple work. Now she can say that the first time she went into the temple was when she was 4 and a half months old!
